Future Economics 101 – Applied Lab
From theory to circulation.
This is not a course you “complete.”
It’s a lab you participate in.
Future Economics 101 – Applied Lab is a living learning environment where economic theory is applied in real time—through real projects, in real communities.
There is no single class project.
Instead:
-
One demonstration project is built publicly and in real time
-
Participants apply the same framework to projects rooted in their own local reality
Food systems.
Dignity infrastructure.
Care, access, circulation, stewardship.
Same framework.
Different communities.
What This Is
-
An applied economic literacy lab
-
A shared framework for seeing how value actually moves
-
A space to build while learning, not after
What This Is Not
-
A traditional economics course
-
A passive content library
-
A “follow-my-blueprint” program
How It Works
Participants move through four levels:
Level 1 – Orientation
Learn to identify where value is blocked, distorted, or leaking.
Level 2 – Participation
Understand how value currently flows—and who bears the cost.
Level 3 – Design
Prototype circulation-based alternatives rooted in real conditions.
Level 4 – Stewardship
Design for longevity, integrity, and non-extractive growth.
Each cycle culminates in a real-world launch—then the lab restarts with a new application.
